fish swimming in space

So we're at chatham road, near west ryde, near the bowling club except the bowling club didn't exist in my dream, in fact chatham road didnt exist either, for some reason it was just a big grassy field there, and it's 10:37 now happy 10:37, and I don't know why we're there, maybe we're watching variety night or something but we are sitting on chairs, the portable kind, and there are other people sitting on chairs too but
they are insignificant and thus are forgotton.
Anyway we're sitting under the shade of that tree on Trelawney street which I always walk past when I go back home from eastwood. A year or so ago I would always walk to the side of this tree as I don't like walking under the canopy of trees, so I used to have a habit of just walking around them, sometimes on the road to avoid it, behaviour which JM once noted a long time ago when we walked from Epping to Eastwood, saying "spiders?" when I diverted my path to avoid a canopy, and I was like oh wth how did you know

Anyway, we're sitting under the shade of that tree and to the left of us, there is the giant hedge about 4 m tall. and superimposed over that hedge is a giant fishtank filled with giant goldfish. For...some...reason... Anyway, Brendan and I are sitting there and he's going on about something or other (nothing out of the ordinary in this dream) and then suddenly I'm like AA THERES FISH SWIMMING IN SPACE and he's all like whut o.o but what was happening was, the fishtank disappeared. It just shifted away into another universe or something, and now the fish escaped from their glass prison and were floating around on their own accord in the air. and then brendan saw it too i told u im nto crazy

After a few moments the glass returns and the fish go back to swimming inside the giant fishtank which is once again superimposed on that giant hedge.

And then I'm like well, that was weird. And I continue my thoughts although I am not sure whether I speak them aloud or not. It doesn't matter anyway. I think or say, you know those moments when something is supernatural or out of the ordinary for a few seconds but no one believes you when you tell them about it?* And then you become unsure of whether it happened or not? (and for some reason I say/think something about how this applies when you hug someone, which makes no sense with hindsight).
this is one of those moments. at least u saw it, brendan

//*it's funny because in real life those moments never happen and I have no idea what my dreamself is talking about

And then a goldfish falls from the sky onto my face

And then there is general confusion and amongst this I am thinking "I should blog about this"

And then after a few more moments the fishtank glass disappears again and theres fish swimming in space again, and then I'm like let's get out of here

And then we leg it and Brendan runs about 5x faster than me.

And we go up that road that I'll look up the name of that leads to Bellevue Ave. Bencoolen Ave**.

//**I think Ben is the only other person from Baulko who isn't terrible at dota. Just an unrelated fact. shoutout to ben lowe for going to artshow. did you know ben lowe made a blog a long time ago. I wonder if he'll get an email as a comment notification if I go there. Oh wow, Kael still exists, I thought every past comment would change to delete12 when I changed.

Anyway, on the bottom of that road in real life there is normally a dark tree that can be scary looking if you are afraid of trees. That tree is still there in the dream. And superimposed over that tree's trunk is the trunk of a smaller, thinner and less scarier tree, whose bark is identical to the bark of trees in slender. Essentially, this was one of the background forest trees in slender. And as I ran past that tree trying to catch up to brendan I thought "hey, that tree looks like one from slender"
So I guess slender has now officially featured in my dreams.

//I actually went walked to WR today and down that path, and that tree does exist. Both trees do. The slender tree was actually a smallish Jacaranda tree about 5m from the scary tree. I like purple flower carpets. I guess this is one good thing about the oncoming season.

In some dreams, my preferred method of travelling (and I've actually mentioned this before) is jumping around. Leaping around. Bounding around like I'm on the moon. Which sounds silly but It's awesome because in dreams it's real, and I maintain the same velocity I do when jogging around on earth. So it's like I can bound forward 10 metres, reaching a maximum height of 12.5 metres for each jump in accordance to the parabola y=(10x-x^2)/2. Sometimes even higher jumps depending on the dream. Did you know that you can type in a graph into google now. It's also pretty bad, it says the maximum turning point of a graph is (4.99999167, 25)

//for some reason I'm remembering a random dream right now which may have been from last year I don't even know when this dream was from but I remember going skiing and by skiing I mean going down super steep slopes and flying around for hundreds of metres. It sounds pretty fun thinking back with hindsight, but the weather was terrible, all dark and cloudy, and I think I was more frightened when I was experiencing that dream. I'm also remembering another dream involving snow now which very strange, do you ever randomly remember dreams from a long time ago like this? I can remember a really short dream from mid year 10, really really short I think this dream is a JPG not a MMV. But I can remember this one because it was pretty significant.

Maybe this mystery dream never happend in the first place and I'm just remembering a dream of the future.

It reminds me of a long time ago when I had a theory that dejavu is just when things happen which you've already dreamed of before, you just forgot about it. You can't prove this wrong because you can't remember your dreams. Then again, you also can't prove this right.

And then more stuff happens, ft. my paranoia and general mistrust of loud strangers, and then Chen Don features in the dream and he's exactly the same as when he is in real life I swear, that was one of the first things I thought upon waking, just like how Brendan is exactly the same as he is in real life in this dream.

We end up going down (bounding down for me) a road that leads to my parent's hometown in China\ which I have no idea why it's in my dream I haven't been thinking it about it ever and have no reason to but whatever, atqui sic habet, \and the dream ends with singing while walking up stairs "happy birthday, dear ..." and I don't know whose birthday it is, but my mum says "happy birthday dear sixty-one" and I'm like oh, huh. And then someone else on the next level of stairs who I can't see says "it's seventy-one" But then I get confused because my dream tells me that the person who said 71 is also my mum and then I wake up and think oh, huh.

and then I remember fish swimming in space and I go write that down.

and then i realise it's 10:30 and i'll probably be running today off 5 and a half hours sleep.

It's interesting how "places" feature in my dream. Because I just realised that when I was talking about sitting under that canopy with the fishtank superimposed over the hedge in the dream, I didn't know where the canopy came from until I woke up. And I just (literally one minute ago) realised that the hedge actually is next to that canopy in real life, except it isn't 4m high. This place actually exists, it's just that someone copy pasted it from trelawney street to chatham road.

And on Bencoolen Ave some of the road and landscape was identical to the path I take from ackling street to school when I catch, I mean caught, the 630.

------------------------

I didn't do much work today.

It's 11:30 and I feel like going to sleep. Weird.

I might as well go finish chemistry notes now so I can go english the next whatever days it is. Come at me hsc, come at me.

I changed my desktop background to http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details/2437/on_the_road_again.html
so this is probably the first time ever it's not bliss (the standard xp one) or the standard windows vista/7 background that i don't know the name of.

i changed it to that one because i realised it's not bad, i like the part where it's orange

Your dreams seem pretty cool and random.

You haven't changed your desktop background before? @_@ The standard one is pretty boring.

i also find it interesting how places feature in your dream. sometimes they're familiar places.

dreams about shore exponentially decreasing as i forget what it looked like

my desktop background is a picture of an angel. or an archangel. it's the third picture in the youtube two steps from hell archangel song. it's pretty cool
