91 - Wheels

Haven't been this content content in a while. Important exams over!

I had so much to say but forgot it all.

I'll miss being in year 12. I'll miss school pride.

I wanna go skiing. Like last year, except this time I really want to go. anyone in?

Even though the blogger I once knew has boiled down to little

When you die, what do you want to think? "I created a legacy and people will remember me for kicking ass" or "I lived a good life and I know it and I am dying happily".

As much as we might think that being remembered, legacy, is so incredibly important because that's all that remains after death, really, who cares? If people remember you, who cares? You won't. You'll be busy being dead.

If someone kills themself in anger, to make everyone feel bad and to make everyone feel sorry, who cares? They won't. They'll be busy being dead.

There is little point in glory over an honourable death. You'll be busy being dead, like Pallas. I can see it being the lesser of two evils, if you don't like people looking down on you for the rest of the life because you cowarded away. But is it better to be dead or to live without pride?

I don't know. u?

I think all souls are the same. No soul is eviler than the other. No soul is more pure than another. Souls should not be judged on the actions of the body that they take on earth. People are the way they are because of nature nurture. Even the most messed up murderer was just a because of the way his mind developed and/or environmental factors. The soul has nothing to do with it.

You can disagree with me on this. But this is what I believe, as of whenever I thought about it a while ago.

But if this is true, what are the consequences?

shrug

40 face days left or something. sounds like nothing. until you realise it's like 10 whole weeks.

except Pallas wasn't praised for a distinguished death. Evander cried his heart out and Aeneas cried his heart out and Aeneas goes and kills everyone because Pallas died. In one of my extended responses I talked about Pallas's "oh crap" moment, where he laid his eyes on Turnus and thought "yeah I can do this! I'll be awesome and everyone will... oh crap."

(Thanks, Harvard)
