Yesterday...
I'm up a bit late tonight, around 10:47, about to go to sleep. I pack my bag, get some jeans for tomorrow, all the usual. Then I step into the bathroom and flick on the light, but suddenly -
All flash black; all sounds cease
save the lonesome pounding of my heart's beat.
turning back; the dim lights dim
shrouding the white walls gleaming grim.
above the soul-shearing white glows in the dark,
illuminates nothing, can only reveal
a desolate landscape lifeless and stark.
an eerie spectre from what is not real.
so um, yeah, it was a bit frightening considering it the light went off the second I stepped in. And at that moment I was so thankful I was not alone. I will face anything as long as I don't have to face it alone. I was thankful my parents were around because after I quickly moved from the bathroom back to my room I stopped at the door. Not only did the haunting light eminate from my laptop, but there was a buzzing noise penetrating through the room, through me. This buzzing noise, louder than my thoughts. It transfixed me. I would have been deafened by it, if it were not for Stranger Things Have Happened playing from my laptop. The noise came from the power splitting thing. The thing that splits a power point into 4 power points. It was coming from that, perhaps because there was low current going through it or something. But I didn't want to check it or anything. I didn't want to enter the room, but neither did I want my father to enter the room. He goes in and turns off the heater and tells me that the noise is coming from my laptop and goes to some other part of the house, even though I call after him "it's not the laptop"
I go in and quickly shut down the laptop anyway, and all the other electrical appliances. Soon the buzzing quietens down and fades away into silence, and I decide it's a good time to go to sleep.
What a lovely night.
I have an alright feeling about wide reading, and we also got the geo comp back in geo and Aaron was like "you should be recognised for this" and tells the teacher at the end of the period and then in period six she said "btw daniel topped the grade" and I just kind of sat there. I don't know what to do when people congratulate or happy birthday. but thanks, Aaron.
But maybe they haven't finished handing them out and someone got 50/50. And it's kind of weird that for some questions we all put the same answer but we were all wrong. Maybe they marked that wrong and we should all get another extra mark.
btw go analyse my poem ^ for practise ;)

you might want to click on it if you can't see

I don't see what you did there, but then again I don't go to your school
Your poem includes all the literary metaphors and imagery that you could probably spend about an hour analysing. I think that's good, but I can't imagine light shrouding a wall nor a soul-shearing white glow.
dimming, thinning, shrouding the walls in an endless black
Nice, what did you get for geo?
Congrats, but Tony Abbott beat you.
Okay, and congratulations on geo as well.
