Exhausted

Yesterday the engineering marks went up and I came tied #6 which was a nice surprise, and it made me think that maybe I should consider taking up engineering studies but then I realised that it's in the same line as latin. But I got to take my explorer vehicle back home and now it's sitting on the shelf next to the dragster. One day I should make an obstacle course with a few turns and see whether brute force (dragster) or calculated pathing (explorer vehicle) is better. and I need batteries.

and then today it was maths.
I got 46/57 which is 81%, about 19% off what I was hoping for but that's okay. I typed 29% just then and then realised that it was wrong. I guess that explains a bit. I looked through the test paper and I lost about 11 easy marks, 8 of them which were careless mistakes.

I spent about 20 minutes in latin just memorising how to expand and factorise things like a^3-b^3 and in the test I missed that part as well, and I didn't even get a mark for working out "4/3pi(R^3-r^3)

but that's okay.

I got so preoccupied with matching my half yearly that I forgot none of this actually matters.

not saying I'm going to give up on that, though. This year it seems that whether I care or not I end up studying the same amount anyway.

oh and apparantly 5 people in top class got 100%, and apparantly JM is one of them, but I don't know how they know that yet.

In class I calculated how many marks I had already lost for the yearly report and I think it was 5.6 or something, which doesn't sound like much but it's actually a lot considering I'm going to lose more marks in the non calcs. So my yearly report mark is going to end up around 87% I think. and that's okay.


After handing in the year 11 subjects form, mark went ahead and bought a netbook case and I was thinking "omg I want a netbook case" so now I have one as well. I didn't really need it because the other one was still in good condition. But this one looks better. and I accidentally broke the case for the laptop's case (the laptop case's case) but I fixed it after a while, so I'm going to keep that. I'm also going to keep the laptop's original transparent plastic case, so right now in my bag there is a netbook which is in a laptop case which is in another laptop case which is in a laptop case's case.

and uh, a while ago I said that there wasn't much due but in the couple of days since I've said that, things have changed and there is a lot due now.
