It's strange seeing someone make the move which loses the game, and then realises, but it's too late. Because the look of painful, quiet, shock, subdued, represents the same reaction to making a similarly game-losing move in real life. Think carefully because there are no take backs, and sometimes it's touchmove - once you touch that piece, there's no going back.
Yesterday I felt inspired (which quickly ran dry after getting onto the bus) to just be a better person. because there's no point in doing impulse moves just to harass the opponent's pieces, when the aim of the game is checkmate. Even if you did capture that bishop, was it really worth two of your knights? in the long run, that's just hurting yourself to the extent of almost guaranteed loss.
Then I felt sick and uninspired and had an unbelievably okay day. But it felt better after school. It felt better just after getting away from things for a while. Sometimes I need to step back a bit and look at the entire picture. But now that I think of that, even though I have stood back a bit, there is an even bigger picture which I am not focusing on. But at this moment in time, the entire picture doesn't matter to me. I don't really care about the background, I just want to focus on the positioning and harmony in the foreground for now.
There was a guy who i'm assuming was named alex because that's what was on the back of his jersey. He looked and reminded me a lot of alex. Alex is a nice name, isn't it.
Nice guy. generous, humble, helpful, sportsmanship. gave us a lift to the station. talked a bit about driving and jobs on the way. I'm not going to get a job. Might get L's soon though.
here is some advice: all you need to do to get 100% for the test is to go online and practise the real test there. Do that 20 times and you'll pretty much be guaranteed 100% when you do the test for real.
won't have time for 120 hours of driving. while you're not meant to, just fake some of the hours. As long as you can drive well in the test, that's what matters more. If you can learn how to apply auxilary angles within a few questions, that's probably all you need to do. there's no need to do the whole exercise if you already get it.
Of course that is assuming you are coordinated and can learn fast enough.
good man.
was going to say more about the others but i don't see why anymore. the other guy i think was called vincent(EDIT, WYNSTON. SORRY WINSTON), and he was epic lols. I'm not sure if I heard right, but he might have hinted/implied/said that he lost on purpose, because he was way ahead but threw it away.
being in this school does not make us any better or worse than in any other school, including ruse.
It kind of reinspired me. just to know that the vast majority of people out there are good people. or at least the vast majority of people i will have to deal with. i should be a better person than this. i already am a better person than this
haven't returned home this late in a long long time. maybe ever
be humble. do the right thing. if it it isn't going overly out of your way, help those who need it. small acts of kindness yield huge results.
also thanks, guardian angel for watching out for me

The dude was actually called Winston, not Vincent lol
And yeah the girraween people are very cool people!
As are the vast majority of people out there, as you say. Don't forget all the cool people who were so nice with directions and stuff.
I prefer to believe that everyone is a good person.
