One of the things I thought about was how coal-fired power stations work. because as far as I know it's

deep? I know, right?
but instead of having the water going into the atmosphere, why can't they just

because this way there's more power produced and it recycles the water
but then I was thinking that I should research this, because I don't actually know exactly how it works.
and then I watched Double Rainbow All The Way to the Bank which is pretty much this guy's vlog. I suggest you don't watch it.
"One of the biggest stories of the day, Stephan Hawking has a new book out, and one of the biggest things he says in it is God did not create the universe. The Big Bang was the inevitable consequence of the law of physics.
"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist," Hawking writes."
I'm going to stop typing that word for word but if you want to watch it it starts around 1:10
but what's more important is some of the comments on the article.
"He aint so smart"
"it is absolutely impossible to create something out of nothing."
"Really feel sorry 4 this bloke, no wonder he is so ill, no faith!"
"I don’t believe in science…I believe in God. Science can’t heal cancer – God can. Sciene can’t heal a marriage – God can. Science can’t make a broken criminal whole again – God can. I used to believe in science, but science has let us down for many millenia. How many times has science said, “oh well, we were wrong…this is how it really is…Oh actually, our calculations were off by seventy-five million microns so the implications are as varied as the universer…yada yada yada…science sure does like to poke its nose in religion, but the contrary is not so. If you scientist really want God out of your labs, then stop talking about Him like you know Him. I’m just saying…"
"What a tragic end for stephen his brain is getting old as I see, he should keep his thinking to mathematics and physics and leave the higher and more important matters to people with some brain and knowledge....:("
"Because of gravity there is no God? Okay, so what set in place the rule of gravity? What laid the foundation of the laws of our physical world? He isn’t asking enough questions."
But the comment which stood out to philip (the guy that made the video) was:
"Mr. Hawking–if time, space, matter, energy, symmetry, proportion and the ability to perceive and respond to such elements of existence came from nothing, then what is the originator of nothing?"
The comment which stands out to me (I haven't read all of them) is:
And then the philip is like "I don't know, I don't say I know, and most of the people that say they know?, are stubborn and blind to the viewpoints of others. That being said, I'd love to know what you guys think in a comment down below (trying to hold in a laugh)or in a video response"
anyway, it's fathers day today, school tomorrow, and I have about 3 hours to print my poetry essay which I finished in class and to find a quote I can speech about.
oh and also fml music stores are closed on sunday and haircut
"God is a free creation of the human mind, as is all of science. The reason these appear to conflict is simple: humans created God and religion to explain the inexplicable, and we created science for the very same reason.
Since the answer to whether some “intelligent” or “designing” force that formed the universe cannot currently be known, we are left with the same conflict: religious people say “it must be, because we say it must be,” and scientists say, “it cannot be supported because there is no evidence to support it.”"
